OBJECTIVE
STAMP Event Co. partnered with ADCOLOR to produce the annual ADCOLOR Conference, a premier diversity gathering held at the JW Marriott LA Live in Los Angeles. The primary objective was to serve as the Executive Producer, overseeing the onstage program, as well as activations and events over several days, all while articulating the conference theme for attendees through every touchpoint. This year’s theme, "Double Down & Double Up," emphasized the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the communications, creative and media industries. STAMP took on logistics, design, guest management and production responsibilities to create a cohesive and impactful experience.
CHALLENGES
- Align the event format and environment with the theme - from captioned content and ASL interpreters onstage, to choosing small business suppliers, to ensuring accessibility for all guests throughout the event
- Manage logistics and production for multiple stages and simultaneous programming
- Ensure professional guest communications and on-site registration for close to 1,500 attendees
- Create an elevated guest experience, including a community hub, multiple brand activations and a retail shop within a heavily trafficked hotel space
APPROACH
Thematic Event Design:
- Incorporated the theme into all aspects of the event

- Reflecting the creative, diverse audience, this atypical conference program included an opening dance performance, timely conversations with DEI leaders and a vibrant multi-media stage design
- Designed an event format with simultaneous programming on four stages, brand activations throughout and a robust app for guest engagement
- Implemented advanced scheduling technology to ensure smooth transitions between sessions
Efficient Guest Management:
- Managed pre-event communications about the conference schedule, speakers, and activations
- Implemented the on-site registration process, reducing wait times and enhancing the overall guest experience

Engaging Brand Activations and Retail Store:
- Collaborated with partner brands to execute immersive and interactive brand activations aligned with the diversity theme
- Designed a retail store featuring exclusive merchandise, creating a unique and memorable shopping experience for attendees

The primary goal was to provide a unique event to reflect WMC’s mission for women and allies to come together, share experiences, and build a collective vision for a more inclusive nation. The convention aimed to rejuvenate, heal, and foster connections among hundreds of like-minded attendees.
